Beccles Cycle for Life is an annual sponsored charity cycle ride

The next event will be on May 13 2018, setting off fromplaceSir John Leman High School at 10am.

The event is run by the Rotary Club of Beccles, with profits from the event split equally between the East Anglian Air Ambulance (Reg. Charity No.1083876) and Rotary Club of Beccles Charitable Trust (Reg. Charity No.1100871).

How to join the ride

Step 1 - Choose a distance

Decide the distance you want to ride from the options below. This choice does not affect your entry fee, so you can change your mind later - just let us know.

Step 2 - Enter the event

Advance entry will open in February 2018.

Step 3 - Collect Sponsorship

Getting sponsored is optional but is greatly appreciated by the causes that benefit.

Sponsorship Prizes in 2017

To be eligible for any of the following prize draws and prizes, sponsorship money from the 2017 event had to be paid into Beccles Cycle for Life account by 15 June 2017.

Norfolk & Suffolk Financial Planners is providing five prizes, were drawn at the Beccles Hospital Fête on June 24 2017:

  • card_giftcard One £250 John Lewis Partnership gift card. Riders aged 16 and over (on the day of the event) get one chance in this prize draw for every £25 sponsorship raised.
  • card_giftcard Four £25 John Lewis Partnership gift cards. Riders aged under 16 (on the day of the event) get one chance in this prize draw for every £10 raised. Limited to one prize per rider.

Lord Somerleyton is providing two prizes:

  • restaurant Dinner (up to the value of £100), local_hotel bed & breakfast (up to the value of £100) at the Fritton Arms, Fritton. This prize will be awarded to the rider who raises the most sponsorship overall.
  • restaurant Dinner (up to the value of £100) at the Duke's Head, Somerleyton. This prize will be awared to the rider who raised the second-most sponsorship overall.
Lord Somerleyton's prizes cannot be redeemed on weekends or school holidays.
